Parliamentary Democracies like the U.K. and the U.S.A. have only 2 or 3 main political parties vying for political power  , in the public interests . But in Multi-party democracies there are usually a very large number  ofg political parties, with all kinds of mafias  controlling them for the mafia interests (not public interests) , by corrupting and criminalizing the  govt. officials, especially the Police, Revenue officials  , etc. Sooner or later, these officials and  the  poorer sections , religious groups,  come under the  influence of the  ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc.  eg.Lebanon , Iraq, etc.

IN  THE  HIGHLY  IMPOVERISHED STATES LIKE WEST BENGAL, POOR PARENTS USUALLY  ARE TRICKED INTO GETTING THEIR YOUNG DAUGHTERS MARRIED TO PROSPECTIVE  GROOMS, LIKE  GOVT. EMPLOYEES , WITHOUT MUCH  HESITATION. AS A RESULT , ACCORDING TO N.IE. DAILY, ONE FELLOW  DRESSED  IN A  RAILWAY  T.T.Examiner.s uniform, managed to get married  to 72 girls  , until he was caught by the Police  , after several years. All his children were then admitted in Muslim orphanages !! No wonder the Muslim population is increasing by leaps and bounds. IS THE G.O.I. BOTHERED ??

In  less civilized societies like India, men are being  told to marry unknown women , by their relatives. This is called "Conventional" marriages. Many relatives do this for getting Commission from the bride's relatives, instead of giving Dowry,to the Bridegroom.R$esult is Divorce , sooner or later.

The present G0ovt. has done a lot to remedy the situation .But there are lots more to be done .

In India it takes about 8 years and about 8 lakhs of your hard-earned money to resolve a dispute in a Family Court.

The founding fathers of the American Constitution were extremely far-sighted and carefully inserted all kinds of Checks and Balances. But the Indian Constitution was drafted hastily by some short-sighted leaders who had little knowledge of Human Nature.
