Started pill 17th December, stopped taking it 22nd. Had unprotected sex could I be pregnant?
I started the pill in December on the 17th.. I only took it until the 22nd then stopped, I then began my period from the 23rd until the 28th. Once I had finished my period I had unprotected sex on the 31st December and today twice (the 4th January). Will I have been ovulating when I had sex or is there a high chance I could get pregnant? Just with me taking the pill then stopping I’m unsure thanks!

The pill only works when you take it. Taking it for five days isn't enough. Yes, there's a high chance you could get pregnant. If you took Plan B today, it might work. It can work up to five days.
Does your boyfriend/partner know that you stopped taking the pill? Does he agree to raise a baby for the next 18 years? Otherwise, you're lying and this is known as "reproductive coercion."

2 days after your period ends you have the chance of getting pregnant and from then till about 5 days onwards should be the ovulation process, a lot of women can tell when they are ovulating due to small stomach cramps an lower back cramps, its good to look out for them signs when either avoiding or planning a pregnancy. there is a possibility so make sure to check in a few weeks if your period is late.

Why would you start taking the pill at the wrong time of your cycle. You should have started hormonal birth control on the first day of your period, not on day 25 of your cycle. I doubt that you started taking the pill. Anyway if your trying to get pregnant, why would you start taking the pill anyways? That is just playing with fire unless if your trying to trick your boyfriend into getting you pregnant.
As for the chance, its about 20% in any given month. But please be honest with your partner on your intensions for getting pregnant. Lastly, if you were under a doctors care, he would recommend that you stop taking birth control 2 months before you want to get pregnant. So please see your doctor and let him know what your trying to do. Clearly he does not have a clue and most likely, neither does your boyfriend...

There is always a chance anyway because no contraceptive is 100%. Each has a failure rate. If you have sex you could be pregnant. Higher risk if you don't use the contraceptive properly. You are meant to take the pill for a whole month before not using other form of contraceptive as well. However even then, only missing one (or even having diarrohea or antibiotic) can make it ineffective for that month.
