Are these facts enough to change your opinion about climate change?

I recently wrote in my blog post that rising seas lead to sinking seafloor. Also, melting glaciers cause the freezing point of water to increase as more of the ocean mixes with freshwater. This creates ice. I'm not trying to necessarily state that climate change this or that it's not true, just stating the fact so that you take this into consideration.

I am not sure what your "facts" are.

Rising seas lead to sinking seafloor, when ice on land melts the ground rises, we can see that in Iceland. But water is lighter than rock and adding a few meters of water to the oceans won't make the seafloor sink enough to be measurable.

With regards to global warming, this is what we do know and largely undisputed.

We know the earth is warming.

We know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas.

We know that we are dumping the waste products of burning fossil fuels in the environment.

There are a few people who deny those facts, we know they all have different reasons to deny them. Some evangelicals are hoping for the second coming of Christ in their lifetime and religious extremist would be happy to bring the apocalypse about. There are truly disgusting people for example...

Quotes by Sagebrush (who often quotes Nazi's to further his cause)

    "There is no science",

"Execute all those who voted for OBAMA",

"Sustainability is a codeword for communism",

"Hire the handicapped, they are fun to watch",

"Justice and equality are codewords for communism",

"The animals didn't adapt, they were designed that way",

"God has his hand on the thermostat".

While it is obvious that he rejects science and follows his holy book instead, to him and his ilk things like, sustainability, justice and equality are evil. And he is advocating for the execution of over 60 million Americans for the "crime" of voting for the wrong candidate.

Ironically he strongly believes he is the sane one and every one else is crazy...

Ha! Ha! Just look at ole Anon: "Site the source for your "facts"

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! This is a established method of rebuttal by the Liberals. It is used when all else fails. It is as if saying, "WE HAVE THE MORAL AND INTELLECTUAL AUTHORITY ON THIS SUBJECT. Now grovel you little peon and beg us to believe your puny little pea brained sources. If you really think we will believe your sources you are just ignorant beyond belief."

This is a last ditch effort to diminish your scientific observation without offering any legitimate evaluation of their own, which would be up to examination.

And notice how this Anon starts out: "What you stated are opinions." As if Montreal's temperature of -24 is an opinion. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! That to normal people is a hard unbiased fact, not an opinion. A properly calibrated instrument is unbiased and deemed accurate. Especially if it agrees with other closely associated instruments. But notice this, these scalawags, like Anon, will question actual instrument readings but will devour Bill Nye's or Al Gore's utterances as the gospel. It not only questions the sanity of people like Anon, but it actually proves their insanity.

In direct answer to your question: No it never changed my mind. I never even believed in Catastrophic Anthropogenic Climate Change for one millisecond. It is a theory originated by evil people and supported by intellectually inferior people and people whose sanity is questionable.

No there has been no change in the rate of sea level rise according to records going back to the mid 1800's,

Even NOAA in their tide gauge records admits this is true.

If global warming was real we would see some acceleration in sea level rise but there is none.

Quote "The graphs can provide an overarching indication of the differing rates of regional vertical land motion, given that the absolute global sea level rise is believed to be 1.7-1.8 millimeters/year. Note that they are relative sea level trends, and are not corrected for local land movement. The calculated trends for all CO-OPS stations are available as a table in millimeters/year and in feet/century. A complete table of non-CO-OPS station trends are available as a table in millimeters/year and in feet/century"

    What you stated are opinions.

Site the source for your "facts" if you want them to be considered facts.
