My mother left me half of her share in her estate. My father is now messing with my life. Is it because he wants my inheritance?
He sold it, and kept it all.

Stay away from your father so that he does not interfere in your life. If there is a problem with money you have inherited then go and see a lawyer, they will soon put you right, and stop your father trying to get it.

Not likely. Your father knew what was in her Will. His was probably written the same way. Give more details and we can provide a more detailed probability.

If u re talking about the house he lives - u can not get your half of the share until he dies. He has the right to live there and u can not force him to sell it and pay your share

Not enough info.. if the things she left you are jointly held with him then he owns them too...

He cannot "GET" your inheritance. Go to the Probate Court for a resolution. All estates that have a Will, must go through Probate Court process. You can read your mother's Will at the Probate Court as those records are public records. The Probate Court will be sure to honor your mother's wishes in her Will. If there is no Will, then you may not have an inheritance after all.
You need not hire an attorney. Just go to the Probate Court and find out the status of your mother's estate. Really, that is what you have to do.

Possibly. Was their house a part of the estate? Does he need to sell in order to satisfy the requirements of the state...this is not uncommon.
You can always ask him...

Need more info. Messing, how? Exactly what did she leave you? It is possible that he is upset that he did not inherit her entire estate especially if the home was involved.
