    Hello. Long time Dead was one of the classic movies that frightened me. I have watched it on this site: http://www.topstreaming.co.uk/ . The story is about a group of students who uses a Ouija board to summon a demon. Afterwards, they are killed one by one by the evil spirit. My friend told me that The Wolf Man is a good film as well, so I watched its trailer on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsrFMBWRC1M , it turns out to be pretty scary. The Old Dark House is another eerie motion picture I have read on imdb.com and I had a look at its reviews as well on rottentomatoes.com. You may have a look at this frightful film if you want. Goodbye!

    Slasher films that are great for a party. (In order from best for party to maybe not the best for a party);

    Halloween, Nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th, The texas chainsaw massacre (maybe not so much for texas chainsaw its violence is a bit brutal and disturbing).

    Also it may not be a classic horror from 90's or before but for a party i highly reccomend "The descent"(2006) it builds on characters to where you actually care, it gets right into it your not waiting 30+ minuites for some scares, and alot of jump scares are great for a party.

    During the 50s and 60s Hammer made some good horror movies with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.

    Polanski's "The Tenant."

    I just watched it for the first time last night and I came away very impressed. (Better than "Rosemary's Baby," in my opinion, and probably my new all-time favorite horror film, actually.) But it's psychological horror, so don't expect much in the way of blood and guts and gore (although there is some of the first).

    Dead Calm (1989) is a very good thriller. It's not a gory slasher film, but it's suspenseful, creepy and plenty scary. Has great sound effects too.
