Had baby 8 weeks ago and still haven’t had a period? Can I be fertile and get pregnant without having one?
I had my baby 8 weeks ago now and I still haven’t had a period. Will I still be fertile even though I haven’t had one yet?? We want another baby straight away, had unprotected sex but unsure if we will conceive as no period has shown yet?
If I will be fertile then would it just be normal like a week every month?
Thanks

Are you formula feeding or breastfeeding? If breastfeeding, are you feeding on demand with no supplementation? Those would impact fertility.
But no, you aren't fertile a week out of every month without having periods. If you ovulate, you have a period. Of course, your first ovulation will come before a period, so you won't know when you're fertile. But certainly at only eight weeks postpartum, you're either abstaining or taking precautions?
