I don't like anything that's really shallow or like masturbatory (talking about how often a dude gets laid, how tough someone is, etc) I sort of like things that are more philosophical, or with greater meaning, message, or themes.
If it's in another language, i won't mind what the words mean cause I won't be able to understand them anyway, so if you have a foreign song that'd be alright too

You sound like you might like the older stuff better like D'angelo or even Stevie Wonder, Al Green.
If you want more recent-Miguel is good, Frank Ocean and The-Dream are talented and not very shallow compared to Chris brown and company.
