Why are there so many questions that ask if Jesus is God?
I'm not a religious person, but I was raised by a religious family. So isn't Jesus God's son? Like why is this such a common question? Is there something in the Bible or something that causes this confusion?

One example of a Bible verse that is often misused is John 1:1. In the King James Version, that verse reads: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God [Greek, ton the·onʹ], and the Word was God [the·osʹ].” This verse contains two forms of the Greek noun the·osʹ (god). The first is preceded by ton (the), a form of the Greek definite article, and in this case the word the·onʹ refers to Almighty God. In the second instance, however, the·osʹ has no definite article. Was the article mistakenly left out? Please look at the source material for detailed information. The Trinity is “not a biblical doctrine,” Trinitarians have been desperately looking for Bible texts—even twisting them—to find support for their teaching.

Because many people dont' know what the Bible is really teaching.
Muslims strongly believe that God has no son.
But the Holy Scripture tells us that Jehovah, the Father, is "the only true God."(John 17:3)
Jesus is His firstborn Son, and he is subject to God. (1 Corinthians 11:3)
The Father is greater than the Son. (John14:28)
The holy spirit is not a person; it is God's active force. - Genesis 1:2; Acts 2:18.
So God and Jesus is not a Trinity.

Because the doctrine of "Jesus is LORD" that many people cling to as absolute truth has large gaps and holes in it. They are told that the Bible says and teaches that Jesus is God but many find out that the Bible does not say this and that it is an interpretation and mistranslations that says it.

Indeed, Jesus is the Son of God and the Son of man. Therefore Jesus is fully God and fully man.
Isaiah 45:10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

Many people say Jesus is God- and that "God" and "Jesus" and the "Holy Spirit' are all the same god being. But frankly the bible never says that, nor did Jesus ever say he was a god or THE God.

Yes, What pops up in the Bible is the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity. According to the Doctrine, God is an entity made up of Mind, Body, and Spirit. He tells us that each of us is made in His image. Each of us are made up of mind, body, and spirit, yet each of us is one individual. Jesus teaches us that the things He teaches, and the things He does, are at the will of the Father. And, it is the mind that oversees all functions of the body.

Here is just a brief look at the many verses that identify Jesus as being God:
(John 1:1-3) - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- (John 1:14) - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(Isaiah 9:6) - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(1 Timothy 3:16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Unfortunately, religious leaders of past have blurred the lines and caused many millions of people to believe in what's referred to as the Trinity. (belief that there are three divine Persons (the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost), each said to be eternal, each said to be almighty, none greater or less than another, each said to be God, and yet together being but one God. )
However, this belief is not founded on Bible teaching. The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.
So, it's actually good to see so many questioning the trinity and finally learning the truth about God, his son Jesus, and his active force or holy spirit.
