How many 40 pound bags or 2 cubic ft Per Bag would it take to fill in a 10x10 or 2 yard area?

I m trying to fill a hole. I m trying to figure out which is cheaper - finding and paying someone to haul 2 yards of dirt, or simply buying the bags to fill the area myself.

    2 cubic yard area???

    1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet

    2 cubic yards = 54 cubic feet

    54/2 = 27 bags

10 x 10 area would only be a bit more than 6 inches deep to need 54 cubic feet. Steal it from your neighbor's yard. The exercise will do you good.

Buying bags of dirt to fill that hole would cost a dozen times what it would to have someone to haul it in with a truck.
