At least get your high school diploma. If you do choose to go to college or university after the military, it is easier to do it with a high school diploma.

Hello, Eshay. It’s good that you are thinking about working in the army. I agree with PP. It’s better to have more education to have some options open for you. All the best!

I like that you're joining the military, it's good for you and for the country, but I also think that you need something to fall back on in case your plans don't work. You're still just 16. If one day you plan to quit the military and maybe pursue a different career, you will need to have at least a diploma and maybe even a degree. I think you should finish high school (or maybe get a GED) so that you don't limit yourself to only one option.

In what country?
At age 16 , a drop out with no HS diploma or GED you are not getting a job. You also need to meet some educational requirements
In the UK, to join as a soldier you can enlist at age 16 with parent permission. No education requirements

Just make sure you're always bettering yourself. Only you can decide whether school is the right environment to do that in. Good luck to you :)

I think education is important for a better future. Nowadays, many companies look for college graduates. We learn something new every day. Keep in mind, after service in the army, people still look for jobs. Good luck.
