What should be the theme of my homemade Valentine cards this year?
I love to make Valentines for my co-workers, family, and friends. Past themes: Olympic medals, 2014: inspirational quotes, 2016; love songs sheet music, 2013; famous fictional couples, 2012; Inaugural balls, Make America Love Again, 2017.
Now it's 2018: Winter Olympics again, Ash Wednesday falls on February 14, and our country is in turmoil because...well, you know. So, what would be a good theme for this year's Valentines? I have only two weeks!
I made Olympic Valentines again: a dark red disc in the background, a gold, silver, or bronze circle in the middle, and inside that, a pastel heart of pink, yellow, orange, or light green, simulating candy hearts, with words inside like LOVE or PEACE or COURAGE. In the back I wrote 2018 and "You're a winner!"
