Why are we seeing a media smear campaign against Quentin Tarantino?
He has literally done nothing worthy of this negative press. It seems like mainstream news feeds are trying to milk out any vague bad story on him they can find.
What is the reason for this? If not a smear campaign, then exactly what is it?

It seems so. He's been relatively a wild card since the beginning. Unpredictable, and not kowtowing to hollywood or the press all that much. It's likely a vendetta by the press, digging for some dirt for reasons unknown.

Tarantino's defence of Polanski's rape of a 13yr old is utterly disgusting but why its taken this long to sicken people is a mystery.

I don't know where you've been for the last 10 years but negative press gets clicks for a website's advertisers.
