Why does my dog cry when I touch her butt/tail?
She was having some problems going to the bathroom and would cry when she would try to poop. I lifted her tail to whipe her and she cried again. I don't know if it's constipation or what.

Then stop touching it and take to a vet for a proper diagnosis/treatment. We're not vets, can't examine her, nor are we familiar as to what is or isn't normal behavior for your dog, only you and your vet are.
Rule of thumb whenever there is any behavioral change it often warrants taking it to a vet to rule out any medical issues, at the very least call your vet for advice, phone calls are free in most areas.
Wipe, Not "Whipe".

Your dog needs to be examined by a vet. I'd suspect, and hope it's just anal glands but you will only get guesses here.

Then use the common sense you should have and take her to the vet and what made you think for that so-called description we could tell you. 1) we aren't vets and 2) even if we were not even a vet could tell you! That is why they have office visits!

I don't see how you would think we would know. We can't see your dog, can't examine it & none of us are Vets & are not qualified to do any diagnosing. You will have to take the dog in to see a Vet to find out why she is so sore.
We could throw a lot of guesses out there but that wouldn't help you & would probably scare you. Best to just take her in to see the Vet & find out what is wrong & get some kind of treatment started as soon as possible.

Your dog "probably" needs to go to a vet to have its anal glands expressed Ask the vet to show you how to do so correctly. Then you will be able to do this for the dog thereafter.
Thats guesswork but its better to take it to the vet to find out without doubt anyway as your dog is not comfortable either.

Please see a DVM vet doc for her. I hope she feels better

Could be anything from an anal gland problem to IVDD (invertebral disk disease). We do not have ESP. Consult a licensed veterinarian.

Take her to a vet.
Obviously she's in pain.
