How can I get rid of a virus on my smartphone that causes the keyboard to disappear and reappear randomly while I m trying to type?

My husband is an IT tech. He said there are antivirus apps like eset, McAfee, or avg. Just download one and run it. Another option is to reset the phone to factory, which is a pain

Why can"t you try by installing a good anti virus app ?

Lot of times just restarting the phone can help. That dont work may have to reset it. Go into Settings n look under Storage n see if shows SD Card or turn off phone and take cover off and see if SD Card is under there somewhere and if not may have to buy a cheap one, but if it is one then turn phone on and move whatever can to app wise and put music n pics n videos onto it n reset phone. All SD Cards are removable i haven't seen thatls not
