    Become a better driver. My advice is not to start fooling with the motor; you will compromise reliability, screw up the economy, reduce it's sale value and lessen engine life. You wont be able to get significant power without spending big bucks. If you want a faster car, buy one.

    My daughter increased the power on her 2015 Mazda 3 GS with a 2.0L engine by trading it in for a 2017 Mazda 3 GT with the 2.5L engine.

    Really, you need to find a Mazda 3 forum website and look there. Every make of car has these.
