How hard is it for a soldier to find a girlfriend?

not if you have a big one

Finding a girl....easy

A girlfriend....not so easy

A serious girlfriend...it happens but they know much of the time they will be alone; or eventually single parents.

a girlfriend or a bar ho? which are you talking about? The bar ho's are a dime a dozen on paydays. In Japan, the next step up was what we called the Base Bunnies .....the girls who hung around the base hoping to snag a sailor. You, or your friend, or anyone else would have done.

Then there was actually going out in town, and picking up a girl with your mad game. Not as easy as bar ho's or base bunnies.......but if you got any kind of game............not too difficult.

Easy. There are plenty of women out there like in Officer and a Gentleman who are ready to grab any service man that comes along for all the benefits. Go overseas and in some places you can buy a wife.

No harder than anybody else.

It isn’t like you are going into a monestary for crying out loud. You will be around women just like any other place out there. You will be on a post in a town where you can meet and date women. Just be smart, save money, don’t blow it all on a girl, don’t marry her just for the benefits and whatever you do if in a foreign country do not, I repeat do NOT say the words love or like to a girl. For you could end up married.

Considering how many are married? They don't have base housing and BAH at the with dependents rate for nothing.

Not hard at all. I stay away from the military girls. A lot are lesbian--much more than in the general population. Even if they are hetero, a lot are just too--well, let's just say some of them are very pear-shaped. And I'm talking about the single gals who never went through childbirth.

I go for the civilian population gals. I've actually had more than a couple of quite attractive DoD secretaries. Unlike some, I see it just as another dating opportunity. I don't buy those corny sayings like "Don't dip your ink in the company well." No way, I date co-workers. Playing it safe is not the military attitude. Have a sense of adventure, man!

No difficult at all with decent girls, if that is what you are looking for.

It can be difficult. The military isn't particularly forgiving on giving active duty soldiers time to be home and see a significant other. Just have to find a girl that's willing to support you through the deployments/ stay loyal during them. Also, gotta beware of those "tag chasers" - They'll fuhck everyone xp
