Why my surround speakers aren't working but with headphones sound works? Tnx in advance?
I have this problem. Don't know what it is.
- It isn't driver, everything is up to date, I've even installed some new HD sound driver.
- When I take out my headphones and turn on my speakers, I can hear little sound that they work, but can't hear a thing.
- I checked the cables, everything is connected good.

headphones and speakers use two different sets of jacks. first check that your speakers are plugged in correctly on the back panel. if ok, then try plugging them into the front panel ... this'll probably tell you if the problem is in the speakers or the rear panel jack. if it's the speakers, make sure the volume knob on the speakers isn't turned down all the way.
if all seems well with the speakers and still not working, check power supply. if that's good, the speakers are dead and you need new ones
