Would America be greater if Donald Duck was president rather Donald Trump?

I don't mean this as a political question. Just curious.

Hahaha. Have you seen the anger issues Donald Duck has? Man, I can imagine what kind of wars we would be in now.

I'm not a fan of Trump, but at this point I think it's time to admit that he has outperformed expectations considerably. His deregulatory policies have given businesses confidence to invest which is driving wages up for the first time in more than a decade, and while his tax cut was irresponsible, it was the price for the tax reform that came with it which has further encouraged businesses to draw money from overseas and start investing here in the US.

Further, Trump has followed the law pretty well. He had a pretty bad fumble early on with his immigration ban, but otherwise he's following the law a heck of alot better than his predecessor who skipped comment periods and required impact studies before issuing new rules.

Unfortunately, alot of that was Gary Cohn who just quit the administration over a dispute about Trump's job-killing tariff proposal. So that's kind of depressing. And of course the lack of dignity in our highest office is embarassing.

But the Democrats didn't want the White House. We saw that when they nominated Hillary despite the fact that the country was pretty clear throughout her time in public life that they hate her. It wasn't about female presidents, it's about HER specifically. People hate HER. Everyone knew this in 2008, that's why Obama beat her in the primary despite much less money and organization. Why did the Democrats not learn that lesson? They left people with a choice between two awful human beings. If they'd run just a generic Democrat, they'd have won easily.

We had a terrible choice this last time. Most everybody that voted for Trump was actually voting against Hillary. It is what it is for 3 more years. Get used to it kemosabe.

Depends on who is pulling the Duck's strings. To be fair, Disney is a very competent and successful corporation, so while it'll probably be a loss for the spirit of democracy it'll at least lead to successes in a business-sense.

I think any cartoon character would make for a dangerous President. They’re all either cartoonishly angry or they constantly get distracted. Nothing would get done.

    So...imagine having Congress as President.

    Born in the USA? Check.

Over the age of 35? Check.

Not sure it would be much different, really, although I think Donald Duck has a much better sense of humor. He may have lower turnover in the White House and there probably wouldn't be as many potential sex scandals.

Trump is already demonstrably a better president than that leftist sock-puppet he replaced.
