How do I sue for my circumcision? I learned I was mutilated at 8 days which is in the bible. I am livid. Words cant describe my anger/sadnes?

Christianity doesn't require routine male circumcision. The Roman Catholic church forbade routine male circumcision for many centuries. But it became popular in English-speaking countries in the 19th century. It is more popular in the USA than in other English-speaking countries.

Were your parents Jewish? Was it done by a medical practitioner or by a Jewish rabbi? If your parents were Christian then they didn't properly understand their faith if they thought the Bible required circumcision. Even Seventh Day Adventists (who follow Old Testament law about dietary restrictions and the sabbath) don't advocate routine circumcision.

Note that modern circumcision is not the circumcision practiced in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament times the foreskin was cut back to expose the tip of the glans. But in 150 AD Jewish authorities extended circumcision to remove every part of the foreskin.

Under common law the statue of limitations for injury to an infant was six years after the person reaches legal adulthood, as they can sue in their own name from 18 years of age till they turn 24. But in many jurisdictions statute law has limited this limitation period further. So I don't know how old you have to be where you live before your right to sue expires.

If the circumcision was done negligently leading to permanent injury and you are in the limitation period you might have a case. Or if you had been born with hypospadias (a congenital deformity of the penis) then it would have been negligent to perform circumcision at all. But if it was done properly and achieved the desired result without causing scarring or deformity then you probably don't have a good case.

Well then grow up and realize there's nothing to be done. It's an accepted practice performed legally by someone authorized by law to carry it out. You'll get over it.

I'd love for you to testify to this before a jury of your peers... Aka 12 circumcized men and tell them how they too have mutilated genitals. I'm SURE you'll win their empathy, and not offence. From all 12 father's, AND their satisfied wives. Liar.

It's been done, and it failed. You would also fail, but you are welcome to find an attorney that needs to make a house payment and pay him cash money up front to file the suit.
