is 400.00 a fair price to pay? details inside?

We have a carport that someone turned into a shed before we moved in. we are having it turned back into a carport. I was quoted 400.00 for tearing out the front wall and the floor. and hauling away the mess. Does this sound fair? it is a pretty large building, will fit two cars

Yes! That is quite a fair price. Especially since they are also hauling it away. Dump fees will take some of that $400!

More than fair. Where I live the haul away alone would cost more than that.

  • That sounds fair, ask around other people who will do the same thing and see if they are cheaper. I'm no expert. But if it's a mexican don't hire them BECUASE THEY STOLE OUR JOBS!!!!!!

Are you freaking kidding me? That's a GIFT.

If you think that's steep, do it yourself. Spend weekend tearing it out, breaking it down, loading it into your truck (do you own one?), hauling it to the dump - probably in multiple trips - the minimum cost for which is about $50 in my neck of the woods.

    $400? Don't forget to tip.

    Good lord.
