Do u think there still is a stigma attached to mental health?

I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for years now. I thought I would be ok on the tablets but I have started wanting to come off them BUT my mental health is really bad at the moment. I sm currently waiting for an appointment for CBT and I have a follow up with my therapist in early April. I could go to my gp but when I can get an appointment it is only a few days until I hear from the therapist.

Yes, in that people nowadays clearly put down someone's behaviour to mental illness just because they respond in a manner that they don't actually like! I was describing an incident that took place with ,myself and another person to three people I know and they all put it down to the person suffering from mental illness, which clearly was not the case. The sigma appears to be that just about everyone is suffering if they apparently appear to lose control and become slightly agitated. Just my opinion!

Yes, the stigma still exists. People think "its all in our head" and we should just "snap out of it" or "buck up." Just because we don't look sick doesn't mean the illness is imaginary.

NO. Aren't we all a bit Mental? Seriously NO There isnt so much. Its a good way to hammer out frustrations so you can avoid putting it on an innocent person. Thats what I would say. If you dont, then you usually hurt the ones you love.
