Get a job with a temp agency. Maybe an employer will pick you up. And don't say "wanna" how about "no one wants to hire me?" Makes you sound dumb and/or uneducated. And no one believes that companies put an age limit of 35 on their hiring - and if they do they sure aren't going to say so. You seem to be assuming that fact as an excuse for your not getting hired. I'd look for other reasons if I were you - and then see if you can't do something to fix them.

Advice, if you talk like you post (that 'wanna' is key here) I can see why they're not looking at you for positions working with the public.
Right now EVERY job posting is getting 200 to 300+ applications. You're fighting the numbers, you have to update and fine tune your resume for sure to get past square one now. And you have to nail the interview as well if you're going to be in the top 10 that get looked at.

Really, you actually see job listings stating an age limit of 35...nobody is that dumb. They may actually have that as a limit, but they aren't telling anyone this as its clearly illegal.
What do you do though? You are 56, what skills do you have? Where have you been working for the past 30-40 years?

If you are in the United States, it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of age.
