Should I get to know a girl who I'm using just as a prom date?
So I'm bringing my coworker to prom and I have mixed feelings about getting to know her. On one hand she's a pretty cool person and is akin to someone I'd hang out with at school but on the other hand I don't fully trust her. It's not that she's a bad person but when I close my eyes and focus on everything I feel about her I don't feel trust but rather a mixture of distrust and playfulness.
Should I try to get to know her or just use her as my prom date then do nothing with her after that?

Get to know her and don’t just drop her once prom is over. I’ve had that happen to me and let me just tell you it sucks. Even if you guys find out that there’s just no connection whether it be romantic or just friendly, tell her. The guy I went to prom with liked me and we went on a date but after prom, things didn’t work out and he wouldn’t talk to me for months which made work super awkward since all his friends were my friends. Point is, try to get to know her and if things just didn’t work out after prom just tell her
