when do you start christmas shopping?

I pick up a few gift cards in late November.

I just got my first Christmas gift today! I tend to pick things up for people throughout the year as I find things that remind me of friends and family. I put them in my closet, then I go through things around Thanksgiving and make notes of who I still need to get things for. Then it's not a crunch to spend a bunch of money at once.

right after thanksgiving.................I take one Holiday at a time.

I will be starting very soon. I like to look for things I know that will actually be around me during Christmas time, like my main family and main friends. I don't just shop for immediately for my bf or someone where I think they won't be around long. Keep all your stuff in a box and when time is near friends and family will be so happy they got so many things!

I never stop Christmas shopping !

I shop all year for Christmas gifts. When ever I go any where and spot

something that will make a great gift I buy it and put it in the extra closet

till it is time to wrap it.

I start looking for gifts about October, if I see something suitable then I will buy it.

You've left it too late. The best time is in the January sales when the stores are selling off their Christmas stock at half price.

September. I do everything online. I haven't stepped inside a store, except for groceries, in more than a couple of years. There is no need to. And now both Costco and Safeway deliver, so I don't even go there anymore.

I'd say start Christmas shopping around November, DEFINITELY not April. If you really want to go early, buy gifts in October.
