the name Elia?
i feel like many people will pronounce it like Aliyah/Aleah (uh-leah) but i want it to be like (ellie-uh). so with that pronounciation, do you like it? i like different, unique, quirky names but most people are traditional and bland.

I’d spell it Ellia if you want that pronunciation. Or Eliah.
I won’t comment on my opinion of the name, my mother told me if I’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

I like your pronunciation, but I originally read “E-leah” I could also see “E-lie-a”. Maybe try the spelling “Ellia”

She would constantly be correcting people on the pronunciation of the name so that's a lifelong burden you will bestow on her.

The rest of the child's life it will have to spell and pronounce it's name. Do not do that to a child just because you want to be different
