My Kindle Fire will not download books to the SD card.?

The SD Card is mounted and I have the setting to download books to SD card. It keeps saying internal storage is full. Internal storage is full, but it could download to the SD card.

    The SD card is empty. That is what is puzzling.

    If the SD card storage is full, you won't be able to download any other books onto the SD card. The only other place to add more books would be the internal storage of the Kindle Fire. You could also change SD cards with one that has a larger amount of storage and download a lot more books.
