A friend was tragically killed in a car wreck 8 yrs ago & has been in my dreams lately. He is adamant he s not dead in them. Dream meaning?

Well, unfortunately, he died tragically, and it is normal for you to continue to have dreams about him. However, keep in mind that Satan does impersonate our dead loved ones and will continue to use them to talk to us, even through our dreams. Therefore, I will advise that you pray to God that He will take over your dreams and help the mind to stop bringing this friend back into your dreams. Satan will eventually strive to use your friend's voice and his character to try to control your life. Since your friend is dead, he is not appearing to you in your dreams nor does he think he is still alive. That is your mind refusing to fully accept that he is dead and wanting to keep him alive.

what the dream is saying, is that you miss him. There is probably some trauma that you are still dealing with, as well as denial. it's common for someone to experience these types of things, if you go get some help, maybe from a psychiatrist, then this won't occur hopefully

Well he is right. He is NOT dead to you. He visits you regularly in your dreams which means you have not released him from your heart or mind. It is okay, as long as you realize that it is your thoughts and emotions which keep him ever present to you. Also some things remind you of him. Did he pass on in April, or in the Spring? That is the season we are in here in the states though I don't know what season you are experiencing now. Sometimes, something you associate with him happens in your Life, and then it reminds you of his tragic death, or the joy he brought into your Life. I am so sorry for the loss of our friend, eight years ago. His friendship was obviously very special too you.

You've never fully processed that he's really gone forever. And it's not that unusual. In times of stress or change, it's quite common to dream of big events in life, like death and divorce that have the opposite outcome to that in life. And in a way your friend isn't dead anyway.... for as long as you remember him!
