I doubt it's burn-in. Modern TVs are pretty resistant to that unless you left a static image on your screen for several months straight.

If it is burn-in, try flipping over to a sports game on TV. The rapid motions of the camera tracking the action, or panning across the stands, should exercise your screen well enough to get rid of any after-image.

However, if the after-image only appears when using your PS4 then my guess is it's something with your PS4. You'll have to call Sony and see if they have any ideas.

I use a small TV for my computer and PS4, and have not had any problems like you describe despite the fact that large parts of the computer screen are very static.

The outlines will fade relatively soon if you stop letting them remain on the screen too long.

Try reducing the brightness (black level) and contrast (peak white) of your screen, too.

Most people run them much too hard.
