Best styling option for mens hair?

I have a short mop hairstyle. (Recently cut from a long mop) Now that my hair is shorter, when wind blows I can see my parting and my fringe goes from one side and straight down the middle.

I want something where it looks natural

And not wet like gel.

What would the best thing be?

I was thinking of hairspray but would that hold?

    hair spray are good for fixing it , but it will definitely dry it !

    Gel, about a dime size portion on damp hair. Style.

    Blow dry lightly, to freeze the style.

    Strong wind? There's no guarantee, even a roof will rip right out!
