The Bible is a precious gift from God. It is like a letter from a loving father to his children. It tells us the truth about God—who he is and what he stands for. It explains how to cope with problems and how to find true happiness. The Bible alone tells us what we must do to please God.—Psalm 1:1-3; Isaiah 48:17, 18.

The Bible was written by some 40 different men over a period of 1,600 years, beginning in 1513 B.C.E. It is made up of 66 little books. Those who wrote the Bible were inspired by God. They wrote his thoughts, not their own. So God in heaven, not any human on earth, is the Author of the Bible.—2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21.

God made sure that the Bible was accurately copied and preserved. More Bibles have been printed than any other book. Not everyone will be happy to see you studying the Bible, but do not let that stop you. Your eternal future depends on your getting to know God and doing his will despite any opposition.—Matthew 5:10-12; John 17:3. (CB/Bible/JW.org)

Jesus didn't write the New Testament. If you follow His teachings, you are a Christian.

Depends on what this church is teaching. Many a poor soul has been led astray by teachings that are contrary to The Word of God (The Tree of Life, Light, Love, Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge). <t><

If this so called church is not teaching straight out of the Bible, then it is not a church. The Church is the Body of Christ. We are the Body of Christ. That's in the Bible.

  • Only God decrees who is of The Body of His Church... and ONLY those of God's Church will enter Heaven.... those are the ones of The True Christian Faith..... I do not know of any man-invented "church" that is not, technically, "unbiblical"........ besides..... one need never have read one word from any Bible to come to God in The Way He prescribes and be decreed by Him to be of The Body of His Church

Absolutely not. The Bible says there is only one True Religion, why not try to find it.

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

This is what God requires of you-- John 4:22-24-- the bottom line of it all for mortals.

Define an unbiblical church, I tend to think a church follows the bible or a temple follows PART of what the Christians consider the bible - so what do you mean?

Last time I checked, a person was saved because they had faith in Jesus. Not because they had 100% the right doctrine or attended a specific denomination. Even if I attended a church that was 100% doctrinal correct, that does not mean that I am goin to agree with everything they teach. My personal agenda or desires may make me disagree with some of what they teach. Even if I attended a church that has some wrong teachings, I can still read the Bible for myself and disagree in part with what they teach.

A person is not a Christian because they are 100% doctrinally correct. They are Christian because they trust in Christ.

What is an "unbiblical church" and why not support a biblical church instead?

There is no such thing as an "unbiblical church". You can use the vague, confusing bible to support any doctrines you want. That's why there are so many of them.
