How much roughly would one pay for a concrete driveway 57ft x 16ft x 4 inches deep?

For materials and labor. I dont want to be taken to the cleaners. Just the concrete is apprx 12 cubic yards, is equal to #1000 (40)LB bags of sacrete which costs 2000.00 itself, but one would probley get it a little cheaper from a cement mixing company I would imagine?

better with 6" ..but before you lay concrete you need 6" of hardcore down ...and expansion strips @ 1/3rd and 2/3rd distance ...here in the uk you would get 13 cu mtres ....18 cu yds ..for circa £100 per cu mtr ..so £1300 for concrete ..£500 for hardcore ...it must be rolled and whacked .....with labour £3.000 ...thats if its already dug out ..+ vat @ 20%

check your local library catalogue online. what you're looking for is "Mean's Guide to (Residential) Construction". read the part about adjustment for local labor cost as well as the per cubic yard of poured concrete cost and then adjust for likely inflation since the copy you find was effective.

or, you could just get bids from three different firms

whatever it is, it is too much for such a weak driveway, building codes by me require a minimum of 6”

concrete itself is relatively cheap, its the labor that costs a lot and how much excavation you need

It depends on where you live (in the country, a small town, or a large city?), the site you want paved (is it on a steep incline, or flat?), and so on. Your best bet is to contact at least three companies for estimates. Be sure to compare the warranties and reviews/recommendations of people who have used each company.
