Does anyone get " growing pains" as a adult?

When I was little i use to get what docs called growing pains they would last a hour or so and hurt so bad I'd cry. Now I'm 22 and still get them every now and then maybe only once a month or less but man do they still hurt. No docs seem to know what it is still. Also if anyone else still gets These do they make you nauseous cause they make me nauseous as well.

Ask to be tested for tick-borne diseases. The pain can be transient both in timing and in location in your body. And ask that your thyroid be checked as well.

You could have automimmune disease, which your endocrinologist could help you find, and they may also send you along to a rheumatologist. In the meantime, make sure you are getting enough fluids and electrolytes (not sugary stuff, the super water). Dehydration and a chemical imbalance could also cause this. You are your own best detective, so think back as to what may have changed a few months back. Alcohol will also dehydrate you the next day- could that be it? If you have to, start a journal so you can track it down. You could even have a grain sensitivity, if this is happening after beer night.

Actually, I looked back at your other questions- some of that sounds like endocrine/thyroid imbalance. The panic attacks, heart surges and aches could definitely be thyroid- even if your PCP says your thyroid is normal, ask for a referral. You can look textbook normal, and still have an imbalance. Anddon't rule out the grain sensitivity either- automimmune issues go along with thyroid stuff.
