Is Yahoo Answers broken or something?

Not joking, when I went to check to see my yahoo answers points and questions, it was as if I had never even used it, it wanted me to click "Get Started" again as if I have never answered any questions or asked any, but when I clicked it now it shows as it always had, all my points and questions still there.

Is this really what Yahoo is reduced to? It makes no sense that they can't even manage their site better than this. They should really be ashamed of this.

Update:

I suppose this is the truth, though I wish it wasn't. Thanks for answering, guys.

Yahoo & especially Yahoo Answers is often screwed up. But they eventually work out the bugs in a day or two. What's really screwed up is their security. They've been hacked now...what, 2 or 3 times in the last year or so? I've changed my password at least 3 times in that time period per their request for security reasons.

The site has a lot of problems. Consider that for a while right before, and during the time of, the sale to Verizon, there was virtually no one monitoring this part of Yahoo (or so it seemed). Verizon's purchase will keep them busy for a while sorting out what they want to keep, change, and discard. As when any corporation makes a purchase, some of the changes can take time as they have to restructure the employees, hire new ones, and then focus on the things that need attention the most and work down the priority list. I can only imagine Answers isn't a high priority compared to other parts of Yahoo or other companies they purchased.

We just need to be patient. At least changes have been happening and, after a long hiatus, we at least do have a way to contact customer support for appeals (that's something). My hope is that every new glitch or hiccup isn't a sign of the site foundering, but that someone behind the scenes is working on making some changes and trying to figure out what needs to be done.

No more than usual. Strange things happen all the time here, you should be used to that by now. There is always ongoing glitches that we just accept as normal.
