Kz305 clutch issue?
I have a kz305 engine that runs great apart from a small clutch issue.
When running and put into first gear the bike won’t go back into neutral gear, however when bike is switched off it goes back into neutral no problem. Also when in neutral the bike tries to pull forward slightly.
I have done a recent oil and filter change and also checked the clutch cable is pulled right in at the engine.
My guess is the clutch cup is worn so I intend to operate but firstly I’d like to know if there’s anything else to look out for?
Is it definitely the clutch cup?
Also clutch lever is quite heavy to pull, anything I can do to lighten that?

Obtain acopy of the manual for the model , read up on how to adjust clutch properly & do it. If it's still a problem either learn to live with it or pull the clutch apart & look for warped disks or other internal issues. (99% likely just a cable adjustment problem)

Cable adjustment time.
Loosen both top and bottom adjusting areas (at the bars and the case).
Tighten the bottom FIRST about 3/4 removel of slack, than fine tune at the bars. Might take a few tries to dial it in, free-play at the lever is required.
If that doesn't help there may be a bent/warped shifting fork in the tranny.
