    Everyone should be respected. That's what all these years of humanity has taught us. Everyone deserves a good day. Even the worst of us. You might hate our actions, and we can atone for them, but all of us are manifestations of consciousness. And we ALL deserve a good day.

    Yes, but not only because they are gay. They should be respected because they deserve the same respect as anyone else regardless of their sexual orientation.

    Respect has to be earned. That said,

    People's rights should not be trammeled as a result of them being gay.

    We should strive to treat everyone we meet with consideration and dignity, so long as they do the same for us.
