When you’re coming down from hydrocodone use for pain, why does it make you feel like a little child?

And you want to cry?

Because hydrocodone interferes with a certain hormone in your body (I'm tired as hell so I can't think of it right now...serotonin, I think).

You can find lots of information about it online. I would try to explain further but, like I said, I'm too tired.

Because the short time you were pain free was the best you've felt in years and now the drugs are wearing off, and you know you're not supposed to take them anymore. It makes me sad and scared not knowing how soon or how bad the chronic back pain is going to be when they do wear off and the Tylenol and Advil don't do a damn thing to stop it anymore.

I think either you or I are doing it wrong. I have never felt like that before.

what youre feeling is whats called a "crash" it happens a lot when your on medication for a period of time and then suddenly stop taking it...….the feeling will go away …..just hang in there and youll be ok .
