Is flatbread safe to eat past the “best by” date?

I had recently ate a sandwich with flatbread but had just realized that the flatbread was best by “4/25/18.” Should I be concerned?

    Was it moldy?

Was it drier than a popcorn fart?

    Did it taste bad?

If all your answers were no, you are fine.

Even if they were yes, you are still fine.

Those dates have NOTHING to do with safety and everything to do with freshness and flavor.

it may not be as crisp but it is safe

Just about everything is safe to eat past the "best by" date. It's not a "toxic by" date. They are not really mandated safety warnings, they are marketing gimmicks to get you to throw away stuff and buy more new stuff. It's yet another deceptive scam to play on people's latent fears.
