Is KTM so problematic?

I want to buy a new KTM bike.

KTM Duke 390 (2018)

Everyone tells me that I will be spending lots of time and money to mechanics if I do.

Is KTM so problematic in general?

    I have no experience with the 390, my LC4 was reliable (I had an issue with the clutch which was replaced under warranty and did not bother me again).

    All bikes have their issues but KTM makes a good bike so think it over.

    KTM is not a cheap bike to own, parts aren't cheap and if you dial in someone else's labor you could be spending more than it's value. Doing your own maintainence is a different story.
