The days are passed when gangs of empty hearted cowards can prevail over other ethnicities by playing dress up and burning crosses. Lawmakers are doing what they can to symbolically lynch black people. The times they are a-changin'. The new voters will bring in a new society.

for most of america's history they were of course able to resort to violent terrorism with impunity. however over a period of about a century following emancipation, blacks gradually achieved enough influence in politics to make this kind of thing less acceptable and practical. since then these kinds of whites have loudly and interminably lamented what they see as a sort of degeneration of their "culture" and "values," but they have resorted to "working within the system," you might say, to exercise their racist privilege as far as they can. this last election was very much about enhancing their ability to do so, and has very famously emboldened even the most extreme racists among them.

There's nothing those people *can* do about it.

If they try to do anything they'll get arrested.
