The majority of people will agree there should be a separation of Church and State. The poor should not be burdened by paying more taxes so the rich don't have to pay any. The cost of the bare necessities of life has doubled under this GOP administration. Everday in the USA people are begging for food.

Every day there are food drives in the land of plenty where we grow enough food to feed the entire world. In a land where the US government hoards food, grain, and oil in bunkers to keep food and gas prices up-- children go to bed hungry. This GOP administration works for the Darkside.

Sounds more likely he was saying it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar. Both Rome and Judea were states that controlled the "churches" or temples of that day. More Rome than Jerusalem, but still the Jewish king to a large extend. It wasn't until Christians controlled the Empire that separation of Church and State first occurred. It may have been Christians that first applied that principle, but Jesus himself in the gospels was personally silent on the matter.
