I’m at a loss. What do I do in this case?
I used to have a greenhouse. I had surgery on my foot and lost 427 trees. Not enough left to reopen. I got an hourly job to pay bills but I can’t get ahead with any savings to reopen. I’m too old to build up retirement with this job. Help

There is NO WAY your foot surgery even CONTRIBUTED to losing 427 trees. Unless they were already dying, you could IGNORE them for years and still have 90% of your forest.
I GUARANTEE you didn't have a greenhouse HALF large enough to have that many trees without having enough employees that YOU could spend the rest of your life in the hospital and the business would barely notice.

Why didn't you hire help when you could not do the work? Is it too late? If so and if you can't run it anymore, sell the business.

No idea how motivated you are, no idea of how many years you have till you wish to retire....surely if you have the facilities you can bring on seeds of annuals, veg and reopen once you have enough potted up to sell....
