i had to un plug my computer from the back because it froze when i booted it up i got american mega trends hit f 1 it loaded windows and is fine now. But i was just wondering it was a virus

Nope..... It's the company that makes the nerdy BIOS stuff that works in the background to make the rest of the computer work, and they've been around since a very long time ago in computing terms, certainly well before I bought my first PC nearly 19yrs ago.
Apparently they were founded in 1985.

No, America Megatrends Inc. is a company that makes BIOS and CMOS for your computer motherboard.
So, you don't have to worry about it.
