How's the Pope doing clearing up the Catholics sex scandals?

If you actually look at the numbers, you will find that Catholic priests barely do this at all. Something like one in 1000 is convicted of it - less than other groups, including teachers. However, the perception is that Catholic priests do this a lot. How can someone act against an impression that is not based in reality? There is not much he can do. Basically, there are no (or exceedingly few) scandals to clean up, even though many think there are. So, what can he actually do?

Im not in Rome or keeping track of his doing...JUST LET PRIESTS get married. GOD NEVER SAID THEY COULD NOT.

Not as good as Penn St. did with the Sandusky scandal.

I think the effort is there. I don't know about the results.

I hope he makes it so pedos can't hide there anymore.
