Yes you can. It may be a bit more complicated but you're not doomed to live alone.
You should inform your partners that you want to have sex with that you have herpes, before you have sex. You may want to cut back on or stop having one night flings, you never know if you could pass herpes on. But the chances of passing it on are lower when you're in between break outs, and next to zero if you're taking antiviral medication regularly.
Herpes can be passed even if condoms are used, but you can use condoms in between break outs as you're less likely to pass it on when you're in between break outs. You can have oral sex. Just don't let some one give you oral sex, while or around the time you have a break out. You can give all the oral sex you want. If it's only genital herpes, you're not going to pass it via your mouth.
