What’s the benefits of religious tithes?

Benefits of tithing? You never read Acts 15 apparently. It is a subversion of a Christian's soul to teach them old covenant points of law.

Are christians today instructed to tithe?

God only commanded the Israelites living under the law of Moses to tithe --- christians living under grace (Rom 6:14) in the church age of grace (Eph 3:2) are to GIVE -- a cheerful giver (2Cor 9:7)

Only the tribe of the Levites were to be given tithes in Israel (Num 18:23-26) because God made them the office of the Priesthood (Heb 7:5) These tithes was NOT money but agriculture and livestock products (Lev 27:30 & Neh 10:36-37)

A tithe means 'tenth part' (Heb 7:2) so the Levites were to receive a tenth of all farming products in Israel from the rest of the tribes.

The 'storehouse' mentioned in (Mal3:10) is where these products were to be stored and distributed out.

Preachers and churches today who say this storehouse was a type of bank to collect money -- don't know what they are talking about !

These are the bible FACTS on tithing -- it was not money and only the Levites under the law were to receive tithes anyway !

Greedy money loving preachers today (1Tim 6:10) who CON people into giving their hard earned money to them NOT for the church ministry but for private use like expensive cars, clothes etc, and even christians tv stations, mansions and jets --- will answer to God one day at the judgment seat of Christ in heaven (if they are saved) for there sinful practices (Rom 14:10)

These preachers like to quote out of context (Mal 3:8-9) to people and say if you don't tithe money then you are robbing God and he will curse you --- is a disgraceful tactic from these reprobate preachers !

There is nothing wrong christians GIVING money to there church to help with the costs of running a church every week and especially in different ministries in the church --even radio and tv outreaches should run on donations only -- but it is NOT compulsory --- christians give what they can afford.

(2Cor 9:7)...for God LOVETH a CHEERFUL GIVER.

Letting go and letting God.

Tithes are what shows that you care in a way that you can't deceive yourself about. Most deceived and most hateful are those who say "God ignores the suffering so I am well able to do so myself"

Making volunteer donations can help pay expense for the upkeeping of the building not for salaries for the ministers. Neither Jesus nor his Apostle took payments for services. 1 Thessalonians 2:but, just as we have been proved by God as fit to be entrusted+ with the good news, so we speak, as pleasing,+ not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.+

5 In fact, at no time have we turned up either with flattering speech,+ (just as YOU know) or with a false front*+ for covetousness,+ God is witness! 6 Neither have we been seeking glory from men,+ no, either from YOU or from others, though we could be an expensive burden*+ as apostles of Christ. 7 To the contrary, we became gentle* in the midst of YOU, as when a nursing mother cherishes+ her own children. 8 So, having a tender affection for YOU,+ we were well pleased to impart to YOU, not only the good news of God, but also our own souls,*+ because YOU became beloved+ to us.

Pastor's retirement .

Churches don't run on air, and the people who work there deserve decent salaries. That should be obvious.

PASTORS HAVE STOMACHS TOO AND FAMILIES AND BILLS...MY CHURCH HAS 4 MINISTERS CUZ WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS...SMALL CHURCHES CANNOT HIRE AS MANY AS WE DO.

So the pastor can get that private jet.
