We live in an age of information which is great, but this also leads us to constant misinformation. On one hand we can gain information instantly from Wikipedia and google whilst in the past we had to rely on terrestrial media and books or we just never had access to certain information but on the other hand it seems it’s hard to trust any information without there being an agenda. How best do we keep a balanced view in this modern world

I know a lot of people love or hate President Trump but is America any more divided than other times in history, think about Kennedy and de segregation where the National Guard literally faced off the US paratroopers, the Cuban missile crisis and his ultimate assassination, which rumours continue to circulate. Or what about Nixon the Vietnam War, collapse of Bretton Woods and watergate? Is it as bad today as many make out

We live in the 21st century and as I’m sure we’re all aware that we are constantly bombarded with conflicting information. Due to this you can see that buzzwords and sloganeering have become the norm to capture our attentions, so we always hear about indoctrination as terrorism and child abuse as if the word has almost been hijaked as something purely negative. We often hear about how religion helped cause ww2 but what about the positive side of faith? Surely just as many Christians, Jews and people of other faiths fought against fascism and communism. How did their faith help them in these dark times?
