te and when I agreed to it he blocked me off every single social media for a week with no explanation. When he unblocked me he apologised and said he needed to explain to me if I would let him. He said he had been having a lot of problems at home with his parents (he’s 20 years old) he said he got scared because I seemed interested in him and he didn’t want anything serious at the time but he said he still likes me and that he has been thinking about me a lot recently, does this mean he still wants to go out on a date?? I really like him but don’t wanna end up getting hurt!

When he wants to go out on a date with you, he will ask. It really is that simple. Don't read any more into anything. He already told you what's going on.
