Christians: Is it possible for you to describe what you hope or believe that heaven is like?

I mean a personal interpretation of scripture can be physical or abstract.

It seems the bible doesn't go into much detail about this. Seems like a pretty important aspect of religion that continues to be overlooked.

I can't describe Heaven because it will be so wonderful I cannot imagine now. But I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

You determine your own afterlife based on the attention you gave to God's warnings and the decisions you make in life.

My expectations of what heaven will be like are based in what the Bible teaches about it: A timeless eternity; our own dwelling places; no more pain nor sorrow. No more sadness, and depression. Pavement like crystal gold, and beauty all around. And, the wonderful presence of Jesus everywhere. Sounds good to me!

The Bible doesnt teach that all good people go to heaven. The Bible clearly shows only a limited number go to heaven and rule over the earth where the majority of obedient mankind will reside.(Ps 37:9-11;Rev 14:1-3)

I am a Christian and as a Christian I have read and understand the Bible number one the idea of people going up to heaven is not God's idea it has the direct quote of Lucifer Satan the devil it's in Isaiah where he said come let us go on up into the heavens and make our home with the gods and become like the most high.

Since God's purpose for men was to rule over the Earth in a paradise condition God quickly kicked Lucifer and his demons out of heaven because that wasn't what God wanted to start with and he was not about to have such nonsense being taught! If you want to know what God originally purposed simply read the Bible Book of Genesis God doesn't change his mind in the middle of the Stream.

    Everyone has some imagination.

The Bible describes Heaven as paradise.

    1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Rather, as it is written: “- No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
