The absolute minimum is usually 5, with Unaccompanied Minor service and only on certain flights. Airlines no longer require the UM service between age 12-15, but this varies by airline and also depends on the route. You'd have to check the airline website for specifics.

In the USA, you can fly your own airplane SOLO at 16 years old, and you can get a PRIVATE Pilot's license at 17. If you're asking about flying as a passenger on a commercial airline flight, you'll have to ask the airline company. THEY make their own rules about that.

Commercial Passenger or Private Pilot or Passenger?

Private, I think 18 to fly. No restrictions on passenger.

My 13 year old granddaughter visited me earlier this year. I had to "sign for her". The airline was keeping pretty close tabs on her!

Even young children can fly alone, if you arrange in advance with the airlines so a flight attendant can watch over you from start to finish

Ay least sixteen, but that differs from airline to airline. With the necessary arrangements, you can fly at eight or so.

    Peace.

Different countries and different airlines have different policies. Check with the airline that you are flying with.
