Girls, how much money do you cost your boyfriend every month?

What planet are you living on where a single earning couple is still the norm? It’s 2018, dude. Ladies work. I have a job. My husband has a job. We run two other businesses together out of our home. Nobody’s getting free vacations or limo rides in this economy. And if someone chooses to pay for a date with their partner, a vacation, a gift, etc., that’s a choice they make.

I just bought my husband a $60 video game with money I earned from my job. He just spent around the same taking me to dinner. He earns money at his job too, so he can afford to do that. This petty “my money/your money” crap is nonexistent. We both hustle, we both cook, we both clean. And if we want to take a trip, we both contribute to the planning and payment for it. That’s what we did when we dated for six years and that’s how our marriage is now. Equal.
